The Inspections include
External and Internal Visual Inspection, Static Electrical tests on the Generators Windings, Control system assessment for the application, Partial discharge survey, Thermal Image survey,Vibration and Bearing damage survey and Bearing Grease analysis.
Generator Maintenance. A six or twelve monthly inspection. Winding condition survey for Low, Medium and High Voltage Generators. Polarisation Index test performed on MV/HV windings. Dust removal. AVR and Power Factor Controller assessments. Bearing re-grease and vibration survey performed.
Avoid unnecessary failures and Generator down time. Alva will perform a Generator inspection with a follow on report on the Generator condition. Rectifying issues and potential future issues on the Generator.
